AI has become a major strategic scientific issue, creating promising opportunities, especially in the health field. This sector has great hopes and expectations for AI and the advances being made in this field are among the most promising. The 2018 ESSI (Évry-Sénart Science and Innovation) seminar offers an opportunity to discuss, debate and learn more about Artificial Intelligence and the opportunities and challenges it presents, specifically in the medical field. It also offers a chance to discover public and private research and innovation from the Grand Paris Sud area.
