New start-ups benefit from IMT “Digital” and “Industry and Energy 4.0” honor loan funds
The IMT Digital Fund committee met on 20 September and granted a total of €240,000 in support to the founders of start-ups Cybershen, Vallai, Art consortium, Clic&moi and V-Event, incubated at Télécom Paris, IMT Starter (the incubator of Télécom SudParis and Institut Mines-Télécom Business School) and IMT Mines Albi .
In addition, the Industry and Energy 4.0 Fund Committee met on 11 October and granted a total of €80,000 in support to the founders of start-ups Etteliot and Vivardis, incubated at IMT Atlantique and Mines Saint-Etienne.
Created in late 2011 under the aegis of the Grandes Ecoles and Universities Initiative (IGEU) association, the IMT Digital Fund for honor loans is co-financed by Fondation Mines-Télécom, BPI France and Revital’Emploi. The IMT Digital Fund is the leading fund of the initiative and has supported 150 start-ups from incubators at Institut Mines-Télécom schools through €6 million in funding.
Meanwhile, the IMT Industry and Energy 4.0 fund, dedicated to energy sciences, materials and processes, grants honor loans to the most promising start-ups developing innovative industrial projects. The fund was created under the aegis of the IGEU, a member of the Initiative France network, and is co-financed by IMT and Fondation Mines-Télécom through the support of its major corporate sponsors, BNP Paribas, Orange, Dassault Systèmes and Sopra Steria, Bpifrance and Revital’Emploi.
