Mines ParisTech was created in 1783. It is one of the most prominent French engineering schools and a prestigious member of ParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology). Despite its small size (fewer than 120 students are accepted each year, after a very selective exam), it is a crucial part of the infrastructure of French industry.
Created in 1919 on the request of the University of Nancy in order to contribute to the reconstruction of the mining and steel industry, Mines Nancy is one of the prestigious French generalist engineering Grandes Ecoles. The ENSMN is an establishment of teaching and research in engineering.
ENSIEE The Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Informatique pour l’Industrie et l’Entreprise is one of the oldest institutions offering a degree in computer engineering. The ENSIIE program, with its threefold curriculum on IT, mathematics and business organisation, is valued and recognised within the business world.
