Over the past several years, Institut Mines-Télécom has taken a number of steps to foster equal opportunity for its employees : parenting support measures, a specific program to close the wage gap and implement affirmative action to correct low wage progression.
IMT developed a gender equality plan for the 2021-2023 period (approved by the Board of Directors in June 2021), focusing on 4 pillars, based on civil service guidelines in accordance with the requirements of the law of 6 August 2019 :
- Assess, prevent, and when necessary, take steps to correct gender pay gaps
- Guarantee equal access for women and men to all governing bodies and jobs.
- Encourage the reconciliation between work and personal and family life
- Prevent and address discrimination, acts of violence, psychological or sexual harassment and sexist behavior
