IMT expands its online training offering with a new certifying program of 7 MOOCs in partnership with Dartmouth College

,

On 19 June, IMT announced the launch of its first program of MOOCs providing a professional certificate on the international edX platform and in partnership with Dartmouth College, an American university and member of the Ivy League. The two institutions have presented an innovative series of seven MOOCs on Linux and C, one of the main computer programming languages currently used.

The course, created in English and called C Programming with Linux, provides a Professional Certificate© recognized by major industrial groups such as Airbus, Nokia and Thalès, which attests to the validity of the skills in the workplace.

With this professional MOOC program, IMT is furthering the transformation of its educational offering – particularly focused on hybrid learning – and strengthening its strategic positioning as an innovative player in initial and vocational training.

Strongly committed to the digital transformation of their respective training offerings, IMT and Dartmouth College presented the tools and educational innovations designed in the framework of this MOOC in Paris. They notably gave a live demonstration of Codecast, a tool that is revolutionizing computer programming tutorials by providing an interactive interface of code with live comments from the teacher.

Participants on this Professional Certificate course will be equipped to face the challenges of a world in which objects are interconnected and integrated in a vast data network. […] Airbus factories and products are increasingly incorporating the Linux operating system, which is one of the most widely used today. The C Programming with Linux program provides learners with essential programming skills allowing them to enter the growth sectors of today.” Florence DUFRASNES, Airbus.
