Christophe Lerouge, the new Director of IMT Atlantique

Mr. Bruno Le Maire, Minister for Economy, Finance and Recovery, the supervisory ministry of Institut Mines-Télécom, has appointed Christophe Lerouge as Director of IMT Atlantique by an order of March 23, 2022. He will take up his duties at the head of this Engineering Graduate School on May 1, 2022 for a five-year term.

As head of IMT Atlantique, he will be responsible for defining and implementing the school’s strategy, as part of the overall strategy of Institut Mines-Télécom. He will contribute to the definition and implementation of IMT’s 2030 Strategy, and to the institution’s 2023-2028 Contract of Objectives and Performance. During his five-year term, he will also aim to strengthen the school’s position in the regional ecosystems and the three major cities (Brest, Nantes and Rennes) where IMT Atlantique’s three campuses are located, while reinforcing its position on a national and international scale.

IMT Atlantique, with its high-level teaching and research, is prepared to meet the challenges of the 21st century. As Director of this school, I, along with all our teams, will be committed to contributing to its regional, national and international outreach as a key player fully involved alongside companies in the digital, energy and environmental transitions.
