Discover the winners of the IMT Teaching Award for “Commitment, Teaching, Education” announced at the awards ceremony on July 6!

In 2021, IMT created the award for “Commitment, Teaching, Education” to encourage new teaching practices and recognize educational teams from IMT schools. The goal is also to share and disseminate effective teaching practices among professors and the entire IMT community.

It also seeks to promote new initiatives that meet emerging needs and adapt to changing contexts.

In addition to recognizing the winners, the award also seeks to:

  • encourage student-centered approaches or practices that have produced recognized results in terms of student commitment, perseverance and success;
  • identify innovative practices led by educational teams;
  • recognize professors for their practices;
  • disseminate and promote all the initiatives;
  • create sharing communities;
  • support all teaching team candidates.

Emerging Program Prize:

“Negotiating a territorial industrial ecology project”– Mines Saint-Étienne, Valérie Laforest, Director of Research, Head of the Department of Environmental Engineering and Organizations, Head of the Industrial and Territorial Ecology Teaching Unit.

Digital Program Prize:

“Serious Games and Virtual Reality” MOOC– IMT Nord Europe, Jean-Luc Wojkiewicz, Professor of Chemistry and Materials Physics.
