Southeast University (China) visits IMT
On 4 September, the IMT general management board welcomed a Chinese delegation from Southeast University (SEU) in China, led by its vice-president. As part of its plan to expand and develop its international campus in Wuxi, Southeast University is looking to create a Sino-French campus for graduate-level studies. Four IMT graduate schools attended the meeting.
SEU has asked IMT to work on joint initial training programs in the areas of Computer Science, Internet of Things, Big Data, Robotics and Smart Manufacturing.
SEU is especially known for its industrial technology transfer activities. It is listed in the Top 20 “Engineering” schools in the Shanghai ranking and almost made the list of Top 200 world universities in 2018.
Other partners in the SEU expansion project include Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, KU Leuven and Monash University, which is already present on campus.
