IMT – Académie des Sciences Awards: call for applications open until May 15, 2023
The application period for the 2023 IMT – Académie des Sciences Awards is now open. This initiative supported by the Fondation Mines-Telecom honors outstanding scientific contributions in European four scientific and technological fields. The deadline for applications is May 15, 2023.
These prizes are awarded to scientists who have made outstanding contributions to the scientific or technological fields covered by the awards through a recognized set of scientific advances leading to breakthroughs in industry or business that support a sustainable economy:
- responsible solutions for industry of the future;
- digital sovereignty and sobriety;
- energy, circular economy and society;
- engineering for health and well-being.
A “Grand Prix”
This prize is awarded to a scientist who has made an outstanding contribution to one of the scientific or technological fields covered by the awards through a recognized set of scientific advances leading to breakthroughs in industry or business that support a sustainable economy.
Grand Prix: €30,000
The IMT – Académie des Sciences Grand Prix will be awarded to a scientist of any nationality working in France, or in Europe in close collaboration with French teams.
A Young Scientist Prize
This prize will be awarded to a scientist who is under 40 years old as of January 1st of the year of the prize (this limit may be extended by one additional year per child). The winner must have contributed to one of the scientific or technological fields covered by the awards through a major innovation that led to breakthroughs in industry or business that support a sustainable economy.
Young Scientist Prize: €15,000
The IMT – Académie des Sciences Young Scientist Prize will be awarded to a scientist of any nationality working in France, or in Europe in close collaboration with French teams. Candidates must have been born in or after 1983.
