The scientific journal Nature has announced the speakers for its 2021 conference on Waste Management and Valorisation for a Sustainable Future (October 26-28, 2021, Seoul, South Korea). Ange Nzihou, Professor of Process Engineering at IMT Mines Albi, is included on this list, alongside other experts from world-renowned American, European and Asian universities and institutions. The conference will be followed by a Summer School (Breakthrough on Bioresources to Energy and Challenging Materials) that he will co-lead.

Ange Nzihou, a researcher at the RAPSODEE research center (UMR CNRS 5302), is a pioneer in the recovery of energy from waste. His research has led to new energy production mechanisms using industrial and urban waste or biomass. He has been instrumental in organizing an international scientific community dedicated to this issue. In 2018, Ange Nzihou won the IMT-Académie des Sciences Grand Prix award.
