Télécom Paris spin-off company Secure-IC wins at SESAME 2013

Thanks to its Smart-SIC Analyzer innovation Secure-IC won one of the 11 SESAME 2013 Trophies, selected from 34 finalists in the “Manufacturing & tests” category.  These Trophies reward the best technological innovations in the smartcard, digital security, identification, secure transactions and contactless payment sectors.

Smart-SIC Analyzer is an advanced platform for analysis of the robustness of embedded electronic systems covering all attacks (passive and active attacks) and allowing test campaigns to be carried out in a simple and intuitive way in accordance with FIPS-140 and ISO 17825 standards.

This platform is aimed at government agencies, electronics manufacturers, banks and telecoms operators.

Secure-IC is a technology start-up created in the Télécom Paris (an IMT school) laboratories, jointly hosted in the Télécom Paris and Télécom Bretagne incubators. Currently based in Rennes and Paris with establishments in Singapore and in the Silicon Valley, Secure-IC is a partner of the first joint laboratory to be launched by an academic institution (IMT) in partnership with a start-up (Secure-IC) and a SME (Doremi) working on data compression and security: see the press release.
