Lionel Luquin, new Director of IMT Mines Albi

Bruno Le Maire, Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, and Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Deputy Minister of the Economy, Finance and Recovery, in charge of industry, the supervisory ministry for Institut Mines-Télécom, appointed Lionel Luquin as Director of IMT Mines Albi by an Order dated November 8, 2021. He will take up his duties at the head of this engineering graduate school on December 1st for a five-year term.

As the head of IMT Mines Albi, Lionel Luquin’s mission is to strengthen the school’s integration in the Occitan region based on its key role in economic and scientific development, while also increasing its impact on the national and international levels. As part of the future 2030 strategy for Institut Mines-Télécom and its next Objectives and Performance Contract for 2023-2028, he must define the school’s strategy and its contribution to the overall Objectives and Performance Contract. He will also be in charge of developing activities for generating the school’s own resources, in particular with other IMT schools, in order to find new development dynamics. His experience at IMT Atlantique and knowledge of the group will be valuable assets in facilitating synergies to promote this growth.
