Olivier Huart appointed for a second term as Chairman of the Institut Mines-Télécom Board of Directors

Appointed by Presidential decree on February 23, 2024, based on proposals by the Minister for the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Olivier Huart, Chairman and CEO of TDF Group, will continue his role as Chairman of the Institut Mines-Télécom Board of Directors for a second term.

Sixty-year-old Olivier Huart a graduate of École Polytechnique Paris (1983), Télécom Paris and INSEAD and has been Chairman and CEO of TDF Group since 2010.

Olivier Huart was Chairman of BT France from 2005 to 2010. He worked for SFR-Cegetel Group from 1996 to 2005, first as the head of Regulatory and Public Affairs for SFR before becoming the General Manager of fixed-line operator Cegetel.

He started his career abroad in 1988 with France Telecom, where he held numerous management positions in marketing and business development.

I am honored by the trust that has again been placed in me through this appointment as Chairman of the Board of Directors. This is all the more meaningful for me as a former graduate of an Institut Mines-Télécom school. The teams are very committed, and I am proud to be able to support them in implementing the overall Institut Mines-Télécom strategy for 2023-2027 with a focus on key issues for our society: digital, ecological and industrial transitions and the achievement of ambitious objectives.”
