IMT’s winter school “MEDIANE” celebrates its 10th anniversary !
“MEDIANE”, IMT’s winter school, was held in Annecy from January 16-19. Eighty participants attended this 10th teaching seminar.
MEDIANE is a key opportunity for teaching staff from IMT schools to gather, discuss and improve their teaching practices in a relaxed and friendly setting.
For this special anniversary year, MEDIANE provided workshops and shared stories from the field on the theme of “10 years of experience… MEDIANE’s impacts on IMT schools”.
This seminar aims to:
- provide a meeting place where teaching staff can come together and engage in discussions on their disciplines and teaching practices,
- generate knowledge and new teaching methods by presenting a variety of practices,
- help promote practices by providing theoretical insights from didactics and educational science.
This first decade was marked by the exceptional commitment of our wonderful community of research professors and educational support staff to academic excellence, innovative teaching methods and the continuous development of IMT schools.
These remarkable ten years are just the beginning of a collective journey toward educational excellence. New programs will be introduced throughout the year, including the ADAPTE summer school on ecological transition aimed at adapting the educational practices of our IMT teaching teams to integrate the issues of sustainable development and ecological transformation.
Our ongoing commitment to a skill-based learning approach and our efforts to motivate students and value our professors has prepared IMT to face future challenges with confidence and determination.
