A 100% renewable gas mix in 2050?

Will France become self-sufficient in gas by 2050? Stakeholders in the gas industry confirm that this is possible at competitive costs with natural gas and electricity by 2050. Using its 100% renewable 2035-2050 scenario, ADEME conducted a technical and economic feasibility study with GRTgaz and GRDF. The study does not describe the means, but rather assesses the theoretical supply and potential of the available primary resources. This conference is co-organized by IMT Atlantique. The event will include a tour of MINERVE, the first power-to-gas demonstrator.
