The Personal Information Values and Policies (PIVP) chair at IMT (Institut Mines-Télécom) has joined forces with Médiamétrie in a major study, to be updated every two years, on how the French perceive and manage their personal data.

This second study follows on from the results of the study conducted in 2017.

It looks at the changes in strategies chosen by users, particularly in terms of digital identities and online purchases, as well as their perception of the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) that came into effect on 25 May 2018.
