Two summer schools dedicated to AI and IoT cybersecurity supported by the Franco-German Academy

The Franco-German Academy for the Industry of the Future supported by IMT is supporting two summer schools to be held in France in July and October. These two summer schools are organized with German partners (TUM, Fraunhofer Institute SSC, University of Nuremberg).

Each school targets 30 to 40 participants (PhD, PostDoc, young researchers, industrialists), and is also open to external auditors and students of IMT.

Third edition of the Future IoT thematic school “IoT meets Security” organized by IMT Atlantique and TUM in the framework of the Franco-German Academy for the Industry of the Future and thanks to the support of the Carnot Telecom & Digital Society and the Franco-German University.

An overview of the state of the art and the latest breakthrough innovations will be given by experts from ITM, TUM, Airbus Defence & Space, ArianeGroup, Atos, elm leblanc and Siemens.

Summer School Trustful AI for Industry

organised by the École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, from 27 to 31 July 2020 in Saint-Étienne

This summer school is organized in the framework of a collaboration between French and German institutions: the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne, the Jean Monnet University, the Fraunhofer SSC, the University of Nuremberg.

The summer university will address various aspects of AI in Industry 4.0, with a focus on the following aspects :

  • Knowledge graphs
  • the web of things
  • decentralised AI
  • responsible AI

Each of these topics will be addressed in conferences and experimentation sessions and then applied to industry use cases to design innovative solutions.
