Institut Mines-Télécom wins 2nd edition of the Jean-Francois Fiorina Prize for educational innovation
On Thursday July 6, 2023, at the Ecole Supérieure du Commerce Extérieur (ESCE – Paris, La Défense), the CGE honored the winners of the 2nd edition of the Pedagogical Innovation Award, renamed the “Prix Jean-François Fiorina” in tribute to its instigator and first president of the jury (*), who passed away last year.
The IMT was awarded the Jean-Francois Fiorina prize in the “Immersive learning” category for its “Training to prevent SGBV” project, in recognition of its successful implementation, originality and, above all, the impact of this innovation on students who witness or are victims of toxic situations that can lead to sexual and gender-based violence. Virtual reality makes it possible to tackle these issues in an immersive way, while benefiting from parallel educational support.
