Erasmus+ charter renewed until 2027 for Institut Mines-Télécom

, ,

The European Commission has renewed Institut Mines-Télécom’s Erasmus+ charter until 2027 with the maximum score of 100/100.

Erasmus+ is the European Union’s program to support education, training and sports in Europe. With a €26 billion budget for 2021-2027, Erasmus+ provides an opportunity to study, train and gain experience abroad.

Its main objectives for the years to come are:

  • implementation of a fully digital process
  • automatic recognition of credits (ECTS),
  • respect for the environment
  • greater inclusion of persons with reduced mobility (vocational training, disability, disadvantaged social backgrounds).

With this renewal, IMT will be able to benefit from funding for projects aimed at strengthening its international strategy: international mobility for its students and faculty, training programs for international students and the internationalization of campuses, cooperation partnerships between countries to develop innovative educational projects, exchange best practices, include communities who are less likely to travel, strengthen ties between higher education and the business world, promote respect for the environment and civic engagement.
