2022 IMT-Académie des Sciences Awards

The 2022 IMT- Académie des Sciences Awards ceremony was held on 24 November at the Institut de France.

At the ceremony, Odile Gauthier, Executive Director of Institut Mines-Télécom and Patrick Flandrin, President of the Académie des Sciences, awarded the Young Scientist Prize to Silvère Bonnabel, an associate researcher at the Robotics Center and professor at Mines Paris.

The IMT Académie des Sciences Grand Prix  was awarded to Jean-Louis de Bougrenet de la Tocnaye, professor and head of the Optics Department at IMT Atlantique.

About the 2022 IMT-Académie des Sciences Awards

The award was created in 2017 in partnership between the Académie des Sciences and Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) to reward outstanding scientific contributions every year in the fields of digital transformation; engineering for energy and the environment; and materials and manufacturing. The 2022 awards recognized two researchers whose work addresses key topics: digital transformation in industry, engineering for energy and the environment and materials and manufacturing.
