Claude Imauven, New Chairman of the IMT Management Board

Claude Imauven, currently the Managing Director of Saint-Gobain, was appointed by Presidential decree on February 3, 2016. His term will begin on February 15, 2016. He succeeds Jean-Bernard Levy, CEO of EDF.

Claude Imauven is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and is a Corps des Mines Engineer. He began his career in 1983 with the French Ministry of Industry and held several positions of responsibility within the administration, including working for ministerial cabinets (Foreign Trade and Industry).

His career with Saint-Gobain began in 1993 with the Glass Division, where he served successively as the Operations Director and Industry and Finance Director. In 1996, he was named the General Delegate for Spain, Portugal and Morocco.

Returning to France in 1999, he joined the Pipes Division as Deputy Director General for Pont-à-Mousson SA, before running the same company starting in 2001 as CEO and director of the Pipe Division.

From April 2004 to late 2015, Claude Imauven was the Deputy Director General for, in charge of the Construction product center.

Since January 1st, 2016, Claude Imauven has been Managing Director.
