Fondation Mines-Télécom Breakfast Debate | The spatial dimension of mobility: when cities and transport links are created in harmony

Rapidly sprawling urban areas and the longer commutes that arise accordingly have called for the development of new infrastructures and transport links for mobility. However, to avoid subsequent negative consequences for the consumer (e.g. tiredness, wasted time, pollution), several new solutions have been proposed which draw on digital technologies, including journey optimization, carpooling, etc. This is an important and topical debate at a time when urban expansion shows no sign of halting and the growing carbon footprint of our digital technologies is becoming a concern in itself.

At 8:30am, in NUMA, 39 rue du Caire, Paris 2e.
