The IMT has reaffirmed its commitment to building a sustainable future on the global stage, with six of its Technological Universities ranked in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2025, which measure universities’ contributions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This achievement highlights the collective momentum driven by IMT’s Technological Universities, both across French regions and internationally.
IMT’s Ranked Universities
- IMT Atlantique once again features in the global Top 100 and ranks as the 2nd French institution, confirming its leadership on issues related to energy and sustainable digital transformation. It stands out with a 14th place worldwide for SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy).
- IMT Mines Albi made significant progress, reaching 81st worldwide for SDG 4 (Quality Education).
- IMT Mines Alès, in the global Top 300, distinguished itself with a 78th place worldwide for SDG 15 (Life on Land).
- IMT Nord Europe, also in the Top 300, secured 70th place worldwide for SDG 14 (Life Below Water).
- Institut Mines-Télécom Business School, ranked as France’s top business school for the 4th consecutive year, entered the global Top 200 and achieved a remarkable 23rd place worldwide for SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
- Mines Saint-Étienne, in the Top 300, earned 83rd place worldwide for SDG 13 (Climate Action).
