MONELECTROBOX, an education-driven start-up, is incubated at IMT Atlantique.
We spoke with Thomas Salvignol, co-founder and student entrepreneur at IMT Atlantique.

What’s your project about?

MONELECTROBOX started in my bedroom two years ago. The idea was to make science and coding fun and accessible to all teenagers.

It’s a DIY educational box delivered every two months. Inside, there’s a self-assembly kit that blends electronics, coding, building, and creativity. The goal? Learn by doing, take pride in what you make, and unlock each teen’s potential—away from screens.

How has the IMT incubator network supported your project ?

The IMT Atlantique incubator has been a true springboard: providing an office, a structured work environment, and invaluable support on legal, tax, and accounting matters.

Most importantly, it’s opened the door to exciting opportunities—like taking part in VivaTech and expanding my network to include key partners.

What did you hope to gain from VivaTech ?

We were fortunate to be among the 36 start-ups chosen to represent IMT at Viva Technology 2025 !

VivaTech helped me meet suppliers and other players in the education sector. It boosted our visibility and gave us the chance to validate our project with the public. It’s an amazing platform to showcase MONELECTROBOX and spark new collaborations.
