Lyter is a fast-growing start-up incubated at IMT Atlantique on the Nantes campus.
We spoke with Théo Fontenit, co-founder and IMT Atlantique graduate.
What is your project about?
Lyter is designed for freelancers, managers, and companies who struggle to post regularly on LinkedIn—whether due to lack of time, ideas, or organization.
Our tool helps users generate all their LinkedIn posts for an entire month in just 30 minutes.
Think of Lyter as your new community manager: it suggests personalized post ideas, writes them in your own tone of voice, and schedules them at optimal times based on your audience’s habits.
This allows users to stay visible on LinkedIn without investing more than a few minutes a month.
How is IMT’s incubator network supporting your project?
L’incubateur d’IMT Atlantique nous est utile sur beaucoup d’aspects !
First, we’re in daily contact with other entrepreneurs facing similar challenges—our offices are right next to each other! This proximity creates a strong support network, helping us grow faster through mutual exchange.
Second, the incubator provides extensive resources that help us shape our company effectively. Internally, Romain and Paul guide us in structuring our work and moving forward strategically. Externally, we benefit from the expertise of legal, financial, and business development professionals who provide workshops and mentoring sessions.
Finally, the incubator opens doors to a broad network—locally through players in Nantes’ innovation ecosystem (La French Tech Nantes, BPI, RDI, and more), and nationally and internationally through IMT (VivaTech, meetups, learning expeditions, the Mines-Télécom Foundation, etc.).
What did you expect from VivaTech?
For any company developing an AI-powered tech product, VivaTech is the place to be.
We were proud to be among the 36 start-ups selected to exhibit on the IMT stand at Viva Technology 2025.
For Lyter, the event helped us connect with many people interested in our solution—we’ve already scheduled a number of follow-up meetings. It was also an ideal setting to build relationships across the innovation ecosystem: fellow start-ups, investors, institutional partners, and more.

Any advice for future entrepreneurs?
My advice: start as early as possible!
I launched my first business in my second year at IMT Atlantique, based on an idea I had while serving in the student union. That project quickly turned into a real product with early clients, and the incubator supported me every step of the way—even while I was still studying.
Starting during school allowed me to learn the fundamentals of business—marketing, sales, finance, HR—on top of my engineering training. This head start helped me launch Lyter immediately after graduation and quickly validate our product-market fit.
Today, we’re a team of four and already have over 100 active clients in France and beyond.
