Since September, Cécile Dubarry has been discovering, one by one, the eight graduate schools of Institut Mines-Télécom, and the people who bring them to life. The latest was IMT Mines Alès on Friday, October 25!
IMT Mines Albi
A true tour of France that came to an end this Wednesday, December 4th, with a day full of meetings and discoveries at IMT Mines Albi.
- Immersion into the training and research centers of IMT Mines Albi
- Visit to the school’s incubator
- In-depth discussions about the international strategy
- Meetings with faculty researchers and administrative teams
- Focus on strategic projects, particularly those related to ecological, energy, and digital transitions

Mines Saint-Étienne
On Tuesday, November 26, and Wednesday, November 27, Cécile Dubarry explored Mines Saint-Étienne! The program included two days full of meetings and discoveries, highlighted by presentations, discussions, visits, and ceremonies:
- The presentation of the school, its programs, and its research
- A tour of the Materials and Structures Science Center led by its director, Christophe DESRAYAUD
- A tour of the Industrial and Natural Process Science Center led by its director, Ana CAMEIRAO
- A shared lunch with members of the executive committee
- A tour of the Health Engineering Center led by its director, Vincent AUGUSTO
- Meetings and discussions with many directors of centers and services
- A visit to the Science, Technology, and Industrial Culture Center “La Rotonde,” guided by its director, Guillaume DESBROSSE
- The ceremony for laying the first stone of the new TWIN building
- The school board meeting of Mines Saint-Étienne






IMT Mines Alès
IMT Mines Alès welcomed Cécile Dubarry for a day of discussion and discovery led by Assia Tria, the school’s director. The visit served to once again strengthen the ties between Institut Mines-Télécom’s general management and its schools, while highlighting the research, flagship projects and initiatives being carried out there, as part of a packed schedule:
- Presentation of the Research, Doctoral Studies and Commercialization Department, with a focus on major scientific orientations and opportunities for students and researchers at IMT Mines Alès.
- Presentation of the three research and teaching centers, demonstrating the diversity and excellence of the school’s expertise, with visits to C2MA, CREER and CERIS!
- Presentation of the campus and the ambitious eco-campus project, designed to make the institution an attractive campus and an example for sustainability and the ecological transition.
- Presentation of flagship projects embodying the teams’ dynamism and creativity and determination to position the school as a major player in training and innovation.
- Economic development initiatives, illustrating IMT Mines Alès’ commitment to supporting the regional and national ecosystem, by strengthening synergies with companies and local authorities.
- The day closed out with a rich and constructive conclusion, in which IMT’s Executive President praised the many initiatives underway, while stressing the importance of continuing efforts in mutualization and collaboration within Institut Mines-Télécom.





Télécom SudParis – site de Palaiseau
On Wednesday, October 23, Cécile Dubarry continued her visits to Télécom SudParis and met with the teams at the Palaiseau site. This was an opportunity to meet and talk with faculty members and staff, in the presence of the Director!



Institut Mines-Télécom Business School and Télécom SudParis – Évry-Courcouronnes campus
On Friday October 18, IMT’s Executive President visited the Evry-Courcouronnes campus.
The day included an interview with François Dellacherie, Director of Télécom SudParis, a tour of the campus, the EVIDENT Living Lab and the very high-speed (THD) research platform at Télécom SudParis, and discussions with the Executive Committee of Institut Mines-Télécom Business School.
IMT Atlantique – Nantes and Rennes campuses
On October 3 and 4, Cécile Dubarry visited IMT Atlantique’s campuses in Nantes and Rennes.
The schedule featured a tour of each campus and the IMT Atlantique Incubator, meetings and discussions with the management team, staff and students, and a friendly lunch!

IMT Nord Europe – Villeneuve d’Ascq and Douai campuses
On Wednesday September 4, 2024, Cécile Dubarry, the new Executive President of Institut Mines-Télécom as of August 19, 2024, visited IMT Nord Europe, one of the group’s eight graduate schools.
The program included:
- meetings and discussions with the management team
- tours of the Villeneuve d’Ascq and Douai campuses
- lunch at the Maison des Élèves
- a guided tour of IMT Nord Europe’s three teaching, research and innovation centers
These visits are part of a series that the new Executive President is undertaking with all IMT schools, in order to meet with staff, discover the group’s schools, and much more.
