From November 17 to 23, 2025, as part of Industry Week, several of IMT’s Technological Universities mobilized to showcase careers, innovations, and the major challenges of industry to a wide audience—schoolchildren, students, professionals, and citizens. The events were led by faculty members, PhD candidates, and postdoctoral researchers.
In Alès, a Bold and Ambitious Week
IMT Mines Alès offered a rich and diverse program that engaged nearly 1,300 students—from elementary school to high school. Highlights included:
- The Gallery of Bold Women (Nov. 17–23): A traveling exhibition hosted in a local school, spotlighting inspiring career paths in industry.
- “Les Audacieuses” Conference (Nov. 17): A panel discussion attended by around thirty participants.
- “Welcome to Créatech” (Nov. 17): A hands-on experience at the school’s Fablab, where 7th and 8th graders discovered digital manufacturing through fun workshops.
- Tour of the Mechatronics Platform (Nov. 19 or 20): A visit to the Louis Leprince-Ringuet campus for high school juniors.
In Évry, Raising Awareness About Careers in Industry
Institut Mines-Télécom Business School a participé à la Semaine de l’industrie avec une conférence de présentation des métiers de l’industrie, organisée le 18 novembre au Génopole d’Évry.

In Douai, Three Days of Dialogue on Industrial Transition
IMT Nord Europe a accueilli le public pendant trois journées, les 20, 21 et 22 novembre, sur son site de Douai (Bourseul), dans le cadre d’un événement labellisé Année du Numérique.
IMT Nord Europe welcomed visitors from November 20 to 22 on its Douai (Bourseul) campus as part of a “Digital Year”-certified event:
- November 20: B2B meetings focused on decarbonization and the circular economy.
- November 21: Workshops for school students.
- November 22: Public outreach workshops.
Led by faculty members, PhD candidates, and postdocs, the event drew over 700 participants—including company representatives, middle and high school students, and the general public.
In Saint-Étienne, Sharing the Story of Industry with the Public
Mines Saint-Étienne, through its science outreach center La Rotonde, contributed with a special program exploring the relationship between industry, innovation, and society (dates to be confirmed).
À travers ces initiatives, l’Institut Mines-Télécom réaffirme son engagement en faveur de la diffusion de la culture scientifique, technique et industrielle, et de l’attractivité des métiers de l’industrie, auprès de tous les publics.
Through these initiatives, IMT reaffirms its commitment to promoting scientific, technical, and industrial knowledge—and to making careers in industry more attractive to all audiences.
