From March 24 to 28, 2025, IMT played an active role in the annual APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education) conference, held this year in New Delhi, India. Every year, this major international event gathers higher education establishments from all over the world to discuss the challenges related to the internationalization of training courses and research.

More than 70 meetings to develop international partnerships

During the conference, teams from IMT schools led more than 70 strategic meetings, at the group’s booth and in various networking spaces. These discussions were focused on the main topics of international academic cooperation:

  • Inbound and outbound student placements
  • Developing training courses in English
  • Implementing dual degree courses
  • Scientific and technological partnerships
  • Collective responses to the global challenges facing higher education

A strategy focused on international expansion

IMT’s presence at APAIE 2025 is in keeping with its global outreach strategy. It reflects the collective momentum of the group’s schools in:

  • Strengthening cooperation networks in Asia (particularly with India and ASEAN member states),
  • Promoting French excellence in engineering, digital and management training courses,
  • Supporting ecological, digital and industrial transitions on a global scale.

Participating in APAIE is proof of IMT’s determination to be a key player in international higher education, while building sustainable and innovative partnerships.
