On Thursday, January 30, IMT had the pleasure of welcoming over 120 participants to Station F for the official launch of the IMT National Center for Networks and Systems for Digital Transformation. This event offered an opportunity to present the new center, bring together industrial partners already engaged in the initiative, and spark new synergies!

Highlights from the day included:

  • Opening address by Vincent Charvillat, Deputy Executive President of IMT
  • Keynote by physicist and philosopher of science Étienne Klein, providing insight into current and future challenges of digital transformation
  • Presentation of the IMT National Center for Networks and Systems for Digital Transformation and its support mechanisms, by Daniel Kofman, Co-Director of the center
  • Talk by Erzsébet Fitori, Executive Director of the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking (SNS JU), on the future 6G ecosystem
  • Talk by Geoffroy Lerosey: “From Academic Research to Industry: The Case of RIS”
  • Overview of the creation of the lab.SCHC Chair (Static Context Header Compression) by Benoît Ampeau, Director of Partnerships and Innovation at Afnic, and Laurent Toutain, Director of lab.SCHC at IMT Atlantique
  • Roundtable discussion: “The Future of Digital Technology and Priorities for National Stakeholders” featuring eight industrial experts
