IMT’s latest Graduate Employment Survey, based on the annual survey of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE) study, confirms the strength of career support provided by IMT’s Technological Universities. It also highlights how IMT graduates are already contributing to the transformations shaping our economy and society.
Fast, High-Quality Employment Across the Board
Over 83% of IMT engineering graduates secure a job within two months of graduation, and more than 81% for management graduates. Despite a more challenging economic environment, employment rates remain high: 84.8% for engineers and 91.9% for management graduates.
Secure Positions and Equitable Pay
The vast majority of graduates start in permanent roles — 85% of engineers and 86.6% of managers — with over 90% entering at executive level. Average annual salaries (excluding bonuses) are around €41,000. Pay gaps remain limited, with a difference of just 1% for engineers and 3% for managers.
Targeted Recruitment by Sector
Engineering graduates primarily join industry (38.5%), engineering consulting (24.3%), and digital services (20.1%). Management graduates are mostly recruited by digital services companies (39%), followed by consulting firms (21.4%), particularly in strategy.
Early Engagement and AI Adoption
From their very first job, nearly 40% of graduates are working on projects with social, environmental or societal impact. Generative AI is already part of their daily toolbox — 70% use it for writing, summarizing, coding or data analysis.
Continuity and Confidence
These findings are consistent with previous years and reaffirm the effectiveness of IMT’s training approach: quick access to the job market, strong employment conditions, and alignment with major economic and societal challenges.
A detailed version of the 2025 survey results will be released soon — offering a closer look at how our graduates are shaping tomorrow’s transformations.
