Octomiro <\/a>is a young startup incubated at IMT Atlantique<\/a>. We spoke with Slim Griri<\/a>, its co-founder and CEO.<\/strong>

What is your project about ? <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

After supporting large companies in their digital transformation efforts, I wanted to go further by launching a startup to solve a recurring issue I saw everywhere on the ground: the disconnect between what ERP systems report and what\u2019s actually happening in warehouses or on production lines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Octomiro was born from this insight : we need to make information systems visually intelligent.<\/strong>
We\u2019re a deeptech company that uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to give ERP systems “eyes and a brain.” Our solutions integrate seamlessly with existing management systems to automate physical tasks like product counting, inventory, or anomaly detection\u2014without adding complexity or overhauling processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We offer a frugal, generic, and resource-efficient AI solution that makes innovation accessible to small and mid-sized industrial and logistics companies. The result? Fewer errors, less wasted time, and more reliable data to make confident decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How has the IMT incubator network supported your development?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We\u2019re supported by the IMT Atlantique incubator<\/a> through its Rennes-based program. This guidance has helped us structure our roadmap, expand our network, gain concrete strategic advice, and connect with key regional stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The incubator also acts as an opportunity accelerator <\/strong>: thanks to them, we exhibited at VivaTech, took part in deeptech events, and built a clearer path toward industrializing our solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What were you hoping to gain from VivaTech ? <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We were proud to be among the 36 startups selected to represent Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com at VivaTech 2025<\/a> !
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

VivaTech was a major visibility and networking boost. We tested our value proposition, identified new market opportunities in France and abroad, and met potential partners\u2014customers, distributors, and industrial players\u2014to scale up our experiments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was also a chance to showcase our vision for a practical, useful, and accessible AI tailored to mid-sized companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
