IMT took part in the 2025 edition of the EAIE conference in Gothenburg, an unmissable event in the internationalization of higher education. The week was marked by rich discussions, new partnerships, and shared perspectives on today\u2019s major global challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A strong presence at two booths: IMT and EULiST<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

IMT was represented at two complementary spaces. The IMT booth, a showcase of its Technological Universities, welcomed many academic and industrial partners from all over the world. These meetings allowed for deeper cooperation on today\u2019s major transformations: digital transition, industrial transition, and ecological transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The EULiST <\/a>(European Universities Linking Society and Technology) booth was one of 35 representations from European university alliances\u2014twice as many as last year at EAIE in Toulouse. This is an important development aimed at establishing these transnational and transdisciplinary clusters in the European higher education landscape.

The event provided representatives of these alliances with an opportunity to engage in in-depth exchanges during the exhibition and sessions, creating new synergies and paving the way for valuable knowledge-sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Strengthening academic cooperation in Sweden<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Participation in JU Partner Day & Campus Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Ahead of the EAIE conference, IMT also took part in the JU Partner Day & Campus Experience<\/a>, organized by J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping University (JU), a day dedicated to EULiST partners. This event provided a deeper understanding of JU\u2019s approach to education and research, which is deeply embedded in the regional economy and closely connected with local authorities and businesses. Partners also visited the Science Park<\/a>, a key player in J\u00f6nk\u00f6ping\u2019s innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Visit from the French Ambassador to Sweden<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A highlight of the event was the visit from the French Ambassador to Sweden, Thierry Carlier, accompanied by Yan Pautrat and Sophie Maysonnave, who came to support academic cooperation between France and Sweden. The visit illustrated a shared ambition for European academic development built on dialogue, innovation, and exchange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Continuing the collective momentum<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
