During the latest editions of the i-Lab and i-Nov competitions, six projects from IMT Atlantique, IMT Mines Albi, IMT Nord Europe and T\u00e9l\u00e9com Paris were awarded by the French government, via the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.info.gouv.fr\/actualite\/france-2030-147-laureats-recompenses-lors-de-la-ceremonie-2024-2025-des-concours-d-innovation-de-l-etat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">General Secretariat for Investment and Bpifrance<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These awards highlight our universities\u2019 ability to transform research results into high-impact innovations, in close alignment with economic, social and environmental needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Projects aligned with major challenges<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">i-Nov Competition \u2013 Four award-winning projects from three of IMT\u2019s Technological Universities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IMT Atlantique \u2013 DHC Twin<\/strong>: This project develops a real-time digital twin to improve the energy performance of urban heating and cooling networks. It offers a practical solution to reduce carbon emissions without major infrastructure overhauls.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IMT Mines Albi \u2013 PLANIFIA<\/strong>: PLANIFIA optimizes staffing in emergency call centers. By leveraging artificial intelligence, it enhances service accessibility while easing the workload of operators.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IMT Nord Europe \u2013 Anemon Sensors<\/strong>: Anemon Sensors designs next-generation sensors capable of detecting ammonia at ultra-low concentrations. A breakthrough technology serving air quality and the energy transition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>IMT Nord Europe \u2013 Wise Trainer<\/strong>: Wise Trainer offers immersive platforms for industrial environment training. The goal: to strengthen prevention, safety, and employee skills development within companies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">i-Lab Competition \u2013 Two projects led by T\u00e9l\u00e9com Paris and IMT Atlantique:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>IMT Atlantique \u2013 Geogems<\/strong>: A geosciences-focused start-up, Geogems develops high-precision tools for subsurface analysis. An innovation that supports the energy transition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>T\u00e9l\u00e9com Paris \u2013 Rubicon<\/strong>: Rubicon aims to secure tomorrow\u2019s communications using quantum technologies. This project exemplifies the school\u2019s scientific excellence in a strategic domain.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Technological Universities committed to a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>These projects embody IMT\u2019s mission: to train the key stakeholders of transition, conduct high-impact research aligned with real-world challenges, and actively contribute to innovation at regional and national levels.
