This project aims to meet a crucial need: to structure a trusted digital ecosystem for the 2,000 or so companies in the nuclear industry, in a context where the volume of data exchanged could increase tenfold within five years.

This involvement reinforces the role of the Institut Mines-Télécom as a key player in digital sovereignty and support for strategic industrial sectors, in particular by facilitating the integration of SMEs into future European data exchange standards.

Data4NuclearX will be rolled out gradually, with an initial design and scoping phase lasting until 2027, followed by a pilot phase before operational deployment from 2028 onwards.

A collective response to the challenges of sovereignty and performance

The six members of the consortium contribute their expertise and concrete solutions:

Sopra Steria is mobilising its expertise in architecture and development alongside the other members of the consortium to design and implement the specific components required to set up the data space.

EDF is leading and coordinating the project, and is engaging its nuclear teams in the implementation of the first use cases.

The CEA, with its 80 years of expertise in nuclear energy, is contributing its expertise in data semantics and artificial intelligence to the development of tools designed to facilitate the integration of partners, particularly SMEs, into the data space.

Dawex is providing Data4NuclearX with its data exchange technology solution for sharing and distributing data products with confidence, security, traceability and compliance with data regulations.

It is within GIFEN that companies in the sector work collectively on the digitalisation of processes and exchanges.
