In October 2024, four fellow students from <a href=\"https:\/\/imt-nord-europe.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IMT Nord Europe<\/a> and I joined the <em>Ambassadrices<\/em> programme, led by IMT and the Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com Foundation.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A transformative journey : connecting with youth to inspire and empower<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our mission:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To engage directly with middle and high school students, promoting science and engineering\u2014and above all,<strong> encouraging young girls to see themselves <\/strong>in fields still too often viewed as male-dominated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For us, going back to where it all <strong>begins\u2014schools\u2014was essential<\/strong>. Career guidance, doubts, ambitions: <strong>these exchanges with the students were rich, touching, and sometimes moving<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\"  id=\"_ytid_63241\"  width=\"800\" height=\"450\"  data-origwidth=\"800\" data-origheight=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tu6-HGaewtM?enablejsapi=1&#038;autoplay=0&#038;cc_load_policy=0&#038;cc_lang_pref=&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;loop=0&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;playsinline=0&#038;autohide=2&#038;theme=dark&#038;color=red&#038;controls=1&#038;disablekb=0&#038;\" class=\"__youtube_prefs__  epyt-is-override  no-lazyload\" title=\"YouTube player\"  allow=\"fullscreen; accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen data-no-lazy=\"1\" data-skipgform_ajax_framebjll=\"\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:28px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A measurable impact<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The results :<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>More than <strong>850 students met<\/strong>, including <strong>406 girls<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In middle schools and high schools in the <strong>Hauts-de-France<\/strong> and <strong>\u00cele-de-France regions<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And a strong message conveyed to each and every one:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>No matter where you come from, your gender or your hesitations. Try. Be curious. Dare. No barrier should hold back your dreams.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reaching beyond schools <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our commitment did not stop at interventions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Article in <em>La Voix du Nord<\/em> (Douai)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nomination for the CDEFI&#8217;s Ing\u00e9nieuses competition<\/strong>, in the School Award category<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Participation in the WOMEN IN STEM EUROPE<\/strong> event in Lille on 17 June to share our experience. Thank you to Lena Touchard and Ang\u00e9lique G\u00e9rard for their invitation and their commitment to this wonderful programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Thank you for this human adventure<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This project would never have seen the light of day without the support of Amielle Dusengimana, Leroy Sabine, and <strong>IMT Nord Europe<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And above all, <strong>thank you to my wonderful colleagues, who have become friends<\/strong> : Laman, Rayann Ch\u00e9rif Coulibaly, Adam Voiseux, Wi\u00e8me Matoussi, Briana Yadjam.
