The Cartel des Mines is an annual sporting event bringing together more than 1,900 engineering students for a unique event combining sport, camaraderie and pushing oneself to new heights.<\/strong>

The year 2025 marked the 50th edition of the Cartel des Mines, bringing together students from 13 schools from the Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com, the Mines-Ponts group, and, this year, schools from the Paris Sciences et Lettres University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over four days, the students competed in 18 different sports disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The IMT on the podium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This year, IMT students made history for the 33rd time: three of our schools made it to the podium \u2013 IMT Mines Al\u00e8s, Mines Saint-\u00c9tienne, and IMT Mines Albi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both on the field and in the stands, our athletes gave it their all. Their exemplary team spirit, infectious energy and unwavering determination enabled them to secure first and second place on the podium in this sporting competition!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The students from IMT Mines Albi also distinguished themselves by climbing to third place on the podium!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beyond the sporting aspect, Cartel is an event that celebrates pushing oneself beyond one’s limits, fair play and inclusion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
