{"id":6494,"date":"2025-05-13T10:23:38","date_gmt":"2025-05-13T08:23:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.imt.fr\/?p=6494"},"modified":"2025-05-13T10:26:51","modified_gmt":"2025-05-13T08:26:51","slug":"lets-designate-may-13th-as-european-doctoral-day-together","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imt.fr\/en\/lets-designate-may-13th-as-european-doctoral-day-together\/","title":{"rendered":"Let\u2019s designate May 13th as European Doctoral Day together!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>IMT proudly joins the <strong>European Doctoral Day Initiative<\/strong> to designate <strong>May 13th as European Doctoral Day<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a Europe that upholds <strong>science and research as core values<\/strong>, designating May 13th as European Doctoral Day would affirm the importance of <strong>doctoral education, doctoral candidates and PhD holders<\/strong> for Europe as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We firmly believe they are <strong>essential drivers of innovation<\/strong> in society and for humanity, crucial for addressing the challenges of a world in transition and for securing <strong>Europe\u2019s scientific future<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This dedicated day would aim to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>enhance the attractiveness of doctoral education<\/strong> for both European and international students,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>raise employer awareness and recognition<\/strong> of doctoral qualifications,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>highlight the diverse career paths and societal impact<\/strong> of PhD graduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We enthusiastically support this initiative and call for a <strong>European-wide mobilization<\/strong> toward a <strong>first edition of events on May 13, 2026<\/strong>, building on the actions of universities, European alliances and socio-economic stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Let\u2019s make visible the researchers who are shaping our future.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IMT proudly joins the European Doctoral Day Initiative to designate May 13th as European Doctoral Day!
