From 13 to 15 May 2026, the Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com took part in the General Assembly of the European University EULiST (European Universities Linking Society and Technology), organised this year by LUT University in Lappeenranta, Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This annual meeting brought together partner universities around a common goal: to strengthen European integration in the fields of education, research, innovation and societal engagement. The 2026 edition<\/a> marks an important milestone in EULiST\u2019s strategic development, with a clear commitment to deepening cooperation between institutions and further structuring joint initiatives at European level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three days of work on digital and ecological transitions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Over three days, representatives from the partner universities took part in working sessions, workshops and strategic discussions focusing in particular on digital and ecological transitions, student and academic mobility, pedagogical innovation and the development of collaborative research projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Discussions also centred on the roll-out of the EULiST European campus, the development of shared degree programmes and new forms of cooperation between the academic communities of the ten member universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The University of Stuttgart joins the EULiST initiative<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The General Assembly also provided an opportunity to announce the arrival of the University of Stuttgart<\/a> as a new cooperation partner of the EULiST European University<\/a>. This integration strengthens its European network and opens up new prospects for scientific, technological and academic collaboration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2026: a key year ahead of EULiST\u2019s Phase 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The year 2026 also marks a pivotal stage with the preparation of EULiST\u2019s Phase 2 under the Erasmus+<\/a> programme for 2027\u20132031. This new phase aims to consolidate the achievements of the first years of cooperation and accelerate the integration of joint initiatives: student and staff mobility, academic recognition, joint training programmes, pedagogical innovation, interdisciplinary research and the development of the shared European campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMT committed to a more sustainable and inclusive Europe of knowledge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A founding member of EULiST since 2022, the Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com actively contributes to the alliance\u2019s work and to the development of a European university model based on innovation, interdisciplinarity and societal impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This involvement of IMT has recently been further strengthened with the appointment of Olivier Epinette, IMT\u2019s Director for International Affairs, to the EULiST Management Board. This strategic body oversees the operational implementation of the alliance and coordinates the main areas of cooperation between the partner universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In particular, IMT aims to bring science, technology and the humanities closer together in order to address major contemporary challenges, in line with EULiST\u2019s mission to \u2018connect society and technology\u2019 in the service of a more sustainable and inclusive Europe.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
