This year, the IMT Forum for Ecological Transition brought together more than 2,000 students across 16 interconnected sites<\/strong>\u2014IMT\u2019s Technological Universities and partner institutions. A major event reaffirming our commitment to supporting the key transitions of the 21st century!

With an immersive, hands-on approach, nearly 30 facilitators <\/strong>led workshops designed around a central issue of the moment: the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)<\/strong>, which introduces new transparency requirements for companies in sustainability.

Every year, the IMT Forum brings together students from IMT\u2019s Technological Universities to reflect on the role of engineers in a changing world.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

This latest edition offered a space to explore how engineering can drive the shift toward more sustainable economic systems\u2014systems that safeguard and regenerate the natural world.

Real-World Insights into Ongoing Transformations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To enrich the experience and ground discussions in practical expertise, two committed speakers shared their knowledge and lived experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • \u00c9ric Launois<\/strong><\/em>, CEO of Factoryz, a circular economy pioneer, spoke at IMT Mines Al\u00e8s. Drawing on his company\u2019s award-winning work at the Sustainable Transformation Summit, he showed how businesses can accelerate the shift toward more responsible models.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Emma Gastineau<\/strong><\/em>, coordinator of the Finance division at \u201cPour un r\u00e9veil \u00e9cologique,\u201d joined the forum from Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com Business School. She unpacked the financial levers needed for an effective and responsible ecological transition.

    Active Learning That Sparks Engagement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The forum offered an immersive dive into the industrial and economic challenges of tomorrow<\/strong>, through innovative educational exercises designed by Patrick Goddard<\/em> and Jacques Olivier Garda<\/em>.

    Volunteer students<\/strong> played a vital role, guiding their peers through workshops and showcasing collaborative outputs on Miro<\/strong><\/em>, a platform that fosters interactivity and collective intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
