They came to learn, exchange, and be inspired, alongside engineer mentors and expert guests committed to improving gender balance in scientific and technical fields.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Welcome to the 4th Cohort of IMT Ambassadrices!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Each new cohort of IMT Ambassadrices benefits from immersive weekends designed to provide training, build a support network, and foster discussion. The official launch of the 2025\u20132026 cohort took place on November 28 and 29 during this first weekend. Hosted in Paris, the 37 new recruits experienced two intense days of connection, training, and inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s a look back at the highlights of this launch, filled with meaningful exchanges, inspiring testimonials, and collective Show young girls that you\u2019re not the exception\u2014you are the norm.\u201d, <strong>Ya\u00ebl Fuchs<\/strong>, teacher, Lyc\u00e9e Descartes, Antony.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Promoting Engineering Studies to Girls<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In France, women still account for less than one-third of engineering students.<br><br>To help address this imbalance, the Institut Mines-T\u00e9l\u00e9com and its Foundation created the Ambassadrices Program\u2014a training and outreach initiative led by students from IMT\u2019s Technological Universities. Its aim is to encourage more young women to pursue science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program unfolds in <strong>two complementary phases<\/strong> to promote gender balance in science, digital fields, and engineering, while highlighting the journeys of committed female students:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Phase 1:<\/strong> Training and coaching via immersive weekends, masterclasses, talks, and thematic workshops. These experiences help students build skills in public speaking, leadership, and communication\u2014while expanding their networks through mentorship with engineer mentors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Une phase d\u2019action sur le terrain<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imt.fr\/en\/host-ambassadricesimt-in-your-school\/\">avec des interventions de sensibilisation dans les coll\u00e8ges et lyc\u00e9es du territoire<\/a>.
