Technological Bachelor’s Degree

The Technological Bachelor’s Degree in ‘Digital Transition in Industry’ trains the future leaders of the digital transition in SMEs and microenterprises. In partnership with IRUP, the course is run in Saint-Étienne.

IMT’s Technological Bachelor’s Degree will be dispensed by the IRUP in Saint-Etienne

The content and implementation of this course is focused on two key objectives:

  • To effectively contribute to supporting SMEs and Microenterprises, which often have limited human resources, in their industrial transition;
  • To train future middle-level, multi-functional executives who are capable of supporting changes and developments linked to the digitalization of production companies.
Introduction

The course lasts three years: the first year will be mainly studying and the other two years on a work-study basis. Each student will be supported in their search for a host company.

The educational program combines work experience and specific lessons, and makes use of Innotech, an educational platform developed on campus. The lessons will address all the digital aspects of an SME:

  • Production company information systems;
  • New technology (augmented reality, rapid prototyping);
  • Digital impact on professions and business procedures;
  • Change management (taking into account changes in customer expectations, facilitating change for employees).
Terms and conditions

This course is aimed at those with a ‘Bac Technologique’ (technological baccalaureate) in Science and Technology for Industry and Sustainable Development (STI2D). A ‘technology summer school’ is planned at the beginning of the course to harmonize the students’ science and technology levels. The course awards an IMT diploma.
