The IMT incubation competition: Up to Start by IMT is back in 2024 !
The Up to Start by IMT competition supports entrepreneurs in the field of technology and innovation, providing comprehensive and customized support by hosting them at one of the 12 incubators that are part of IMT’s network of engineering schools.
Winners will receive support ranging from 6 months to 3 years, based on the needs of their project, as well as exclusive benefits, including:
- Strategic and customized support from recognized experts in the field of deeptech.
- An extensive network of technical experts, investors and potential partners.
- Exclusive financing opportunities, including honor loans of up to €60,000 per project.
- Technical, scientific and human resources to strengthen their technological assets.
- Increased visibility through opportunities to participate in international events and promotional initiatives such as VivaTech.

Attract entrepreneurial deeptech projects related to 4 major themes
Up to Start by IMT, the national start-up recruitment competition, aims to attract the most promising entrepreneurial project leaders with the goal of hosting them at one of the 12 IMT incubators backed by the schools and their laboratories.
Under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, Institut Mines-Télécom helps promote innovation and entrepreneurship in France.
The national network of the schools’ incubators has become an integral part of the tech and innovation landscape. Nearly 130 innovative projects are supported each year, driving growth and value, and a total of €100 million is raised (start-up phase).
How to participate:
Applicants can submit an application before June 30, 2024, by completing the registration form on https://www.imt.fr/up-to-start-by-imt/
The competition is intended for start-ups in the creation phase and those created less than 12 months ago, which contribute to the following themes:
- Responsible solutions for industry of the future
- Digital sovereignty and sobriety
- Engineering health and wellness
- Energy, circular economy and society
The 25 winning projects of the Up to Start by IMT competition will win 360-degree support.
