ERC (European Research Council) individual projects of excellence
The ERC funds scientific excellence at the cutting edge of knowledge. It is a investigator-driven program allowing researchers to identify new opportunities and directions for research, rather than being led by priorities. The program is dedicated to exploratory research, whose only selection criterion is scientific excellence.
The Institute awarded 5 ERC grants in the Horizon 2020 program:
David Gesbert (Eurécom) : Advanced Grant – PERFUME
Stéphane Avril (Mines Saint-Étienne/Armines) : Consolidator Grant – BIOLOCHANICS
Pierre Badel (Mines Saint-Étienne/Armines) : Starting Grant – Aartemis
