IMT Mines Alès Wraps Up the First Blended Intensive Programme on Student Engagement as Part of the EULiST Network
IMT Mines Alès is delighted to announce the successful completion of the first Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) on Student Engagement, part of the EULiST alliance – a collaboration of European Universities Linking Society and Technology. This Erasmus+ initiative brought together academic partners and students from Leibniz University Hannover, University L’Aquila, Brno University of Technology, and the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
The programme began with an online phase on July 1st, 2024, and the in-person sessions ran from August 18th to 23rd at IMT Mines Alès. During this period, students learnt about interculturality, communication, project management, autonomous learning and worked on three practical student engagement projects.
Sport and Wellness Initiative
Aimed at creating a framework to boost sports and wellness across EULiST universities, this initiative will establish local offices at each university and a central coordinating team to enhance physical health and student well-being through expert sessions and inclusive events.
EULiST Squad
An app designed to ease the transition for international students by helping them connect with peers who share their interests. It features a rewards system to encourage participation and fosters a strong sense of community.
PJKP Adventure
This project uses survival and problem-solving activities to develop essential skills like teamwork and adaptability. It brings together students from various disciplines for hands-on learning experiences in natural settings.
The programme also featured a memorable visit to the historic Pont du Gard, offering participants a chance to reflect on their achievements in a stunning setting.
By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, the programme aimed to equip students with valuable skills and promote greater civic engagement and social inclusion.
