IMT attends JEC World 2022 composites show

JEC World 2022, the leading international show dedicated to composite materials and their applications, was held from 3 to 5 May 2022.

Held every year in Paris, JEC World is the premier event of the composite materials industry, bringing together all the major players in an atmosphere of innovation, business and exchange. IMT presented the state of the art and the latest technical advances in 3D printing, and ran the “3D printing” village.

Teams from IMT Nord Europe presented the LASCALA (Large Scale Plastics and Composites 3D Printing) platform for the agile production of large objects (up to 5 m x 2 m x 1 m). This platform is an innovation for the sector, with its large robotic arm that sets it apart from other additive manufacturing systems. The print head can rotate in any direction and move freely in any direction, so it can print any type of object.

IMT Nord Europe has been a trailblazer in Freeformer thermoplastic 3D  printing, providing industry players with a range of cutting-edge skills.

Lastly, IMT Nord Europe and IMT Mines Alès presented their programs at the “Campus” village.
