Round table of the Annales des Mines | Environmental assets: a different approach to managing rarity

Environmental assets (the theme for October in the series on Responsibility & Environment) looks at the different types of interactions companies have established with nature in the past and present. The magnitude of the physical impacts caused by human activity calls into question the logic behind these phenomena. By deconstructing historical concepts of private and public property, the concept of common assets significantly widens the scope of potential policies aimed at restoring environmental balance. “Environmental assets: a different approach to managing rarity”, Responsibility & Environment explores the legal, anthropological, economic, financial and political aspects of this subject with a detailed and forward-looking approach. The Annales des Mines is organizing a round table event with several authors to illustrate and further explore the analysis and discussions this issue raises.

6:00pm, At Mines ParisTech, 60 bd Saint-Michel, Paris 6e.
