GDPR: challenges, training and practical cases

On May 25 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will come into effect in 29 European countries. As part of its “IE Mondays” program, the Cercle d’Intelligence Économique (Economic intelligence circle) is hosting an event focusing on GDPR. Different steps toward compliance with this regulation will be approached from technical and legal perspectives. The role of the DPO, PIA and necessary training and awareness-building initiatives will also be discussed.
