Quantitative cell and tissue analysis has considerably progressed thanks in part to the contribution of new, constantly developing technology, as well as changes in methods and models based on increasingly mathematical approaches.

These days, which are co-organized by Mines Saint-Étienne, are dedicated to quantitative cell and tissue analysis through cytometry and imaging. A photography competition has been organized for the 2018 session, titled “Photo competition on biology, whether beautiful or unusual”.
