Conference led by Roland Lehoucq: “Energy, Science and Fiction”

Works of science-fiction often feature super high-tech gadgets, spaceships, enormous orbital stations and daring missions to other planets. Generally, these machines and constructions are restricted to the minds of those with the best imaginations. Roland Lehoucq publishes simplified science books, building on works of science-fiction. In each instance, he asks the questions: Is it possible? How can we explain this story? How can we respond to the apparent contradiction? This leads to a discourse on about scientific theories accepted by the community.
