After the tsunami on March 11, 2011, Japan had to handle the aftermath of the Fukushima Daiichi accident on-site, the impact of the evacuations and the environmental contamination as well as the changes to its energy mix following the shutdown of its 53 nuclear reactors. This conference will be led by Jean-Pierre Pervès, former director of the CEA research centers and former expert of the Nuclear Safety Authority.
